Continuing with the aim to spread awareness about inclusion of the specially-abled in the society, NGO Tammana celebrated “Phoolon Ki Holi”, at ‘Samarth – Home for the differently abled’, Sector 15, Chandigarh; with its residents on the morning of March 08, 2023.
The Founder President Isha Kakaria shared that the team kept intact the spirit of a colourful Holi, without the typical synthetic dry/wet colours, balloons, and water, and played with colourful flowers instead. Celebrating the festival ritualistically, organic colour tilak was applied to all.
Event SPOC Ritika Goel shared that as a part of its Event 139, team members prepared special dance performances for the residents, which garnered a huge round of joy & cheer. Afterwards, everyone danced and sang together. Gujia & snacks were then relished by all. Tammana is thankful to all donors who come forward to contribute in any way by being there or by bringing in kind.
