  • 86 year old World’s biggest peace-loving and spiritual organization – Bharma Kumaris; honoured NGO Tammana, its Founder Ms Isha Kakaria & other present members of the team, for the immense social work done during the first wave of Corona.
  • NGO TAMMANA was honored by the MUNICIPAL CORPORATION, MOHALI for the profound dedication, contribution and humanitarian services extended towards the society through its KARONA Initiative during COVID-19 Pandemic.
  • In its very first year, it succeeded to send all 220 residing children of Janata Colony (its adopted slum at Naya Gaon) to school.
  • 35 children from AIE (Sarv Sikhsha Abhiyaan) 2010-2011 admitted as regular students in 2011-2012.
  • Appreciated by Traffic Police for participating high in 21st National Road Safety Week 2010.
  • Alone started with Eye-Donation Awareness Camps in the city, in association with Eye Bank, P.G.I., Chandigarh.
  • 51000/- raised via A TREMENDOUS TEAM EFFORT at RUN AGAINST DRUGS – A FUND RAISER AT BIG CHD MARATHON.
  • Independence Day Commendation (State Award 2011) to the Founder-President of NGO TAMMANA by Shivraj Patil, Punjab Governor.
  • Woman Achiever’ Award by Public Relation Council of India (PRCI) to the Founder-President by Sh. Pawan Kumar Bansal,  Hon’ble Minister of Parliament Affairs, Government of India.
  • Only YOUTH ORGANISATION to be awarded at Seva Bharti’s Award Ceremony by Hon. Mr. K.N Pathak, Retd. V.C, P.U ,Chandigarh.
  • Honour by Traffic Police Chandigarh to NGO Tammana for its contribution towards road safety.
  • Honour by ‘Jyotirgamay’ a Punjab University radio to founder Isha Kakaria in their ‘Hamari Beti’ programme.
  • Honour by ‘Aryans College’ to NGO Tammana for its contribution towards society.
  • Honour by Punjab University to NGO Tammana for participating in the women’s Self Defence programme.
  • Jhuggis of Sector 25 slum, Chd were exclusively adopted individually by members where employment for the ladies were generated, parents sent their children to continue studies who had discontinued in the past.
  • High success rate of Live Blood & Platelet Donations 24*7 upon requirement.
  • Founder President has also been awarded by PU Radio “Jyotirgamaya- Padho aur Padao 91.2Mz” and featured twice with them as & for ‘Humari Beti’ Programme.
  • Founder President also has been featured via a detailed Interview in ‘Udaari– a Women Empowerment Programme on ETC Punjabi.
  • ‘India Today’ published the works of the Founder President ‘Isha Kakaria’ as the‘YOUNG ACHIEVER of Punjab’.
  • The Founder President ‘Isha Kakaria’ was also been listed under the City’s Celebrity List(June’2012) by ‘India Today’ Magazine.
  • Besides being interviewed on Day & Night Channel, PTC, PBN News, and more; the Founder-President has also been interviewing on National Channels like ABN News.
  • Awarded by Aryan’s Group of Colleges in their prestigious award function for consecutively two years ( 2014 & 2015 )

  • Founder Isha Kakaria gets awarded at ‘Wah Womania’ Award Function by 94.3 My FM Chandigarh on the occasion of Women’s Day’18 on 8 March 2018.

  • NGO TAMMANA was honoured by Municipal Corporation, Zirakpur at the Independence Day 2019 for its contributions towards the development of the children of the Government School, Singhpura, Punjab.

    We are filled with utmost gratitude for receiving this in the presence of Chief Guest Prof. Raj Kumar, Vice-Chancellor P. U., BK Uttra Didi North Zone Incharge, BK Anita Didi Incharge GPH, sec-15, Chandigarh, along with other dignitaries from PGI & other institutions; at the event today.
    The event witnessed felicitations for various health workers of PGI specifically, for their efforts during the pandemic, a beautiful cultural programme, flag hoisting and much more.
    Tammana raised Rs. 3,82,811 during the pandemic and helped 1545 families by providing door to door ration and other basic essentials to all at 35 various locations with the help of 100 different donors.
